does anyone remember COMPACT speakers?

I have a pair of 15" compact speakers . they are about 10 years old. they worked well until the horn drivers went.

does anyone know who made this brand ? are there replacement coils that might be compatible? i dont know off hand what the diameter of the voice coil is(raw drivers are at my guitarists place).

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I remember COMPACT speakers; they were kind of compact were they not? [I couldn't resist!]

You can get on line and fine somebody to repair those speakers; however, you might give some thought to new speakers and new technology.

But, if you dig the ones you have, get them reconed or whatever.

i found out that they are made by D.a.s from italy. they may be old but they work well for rehersal.
