well, it doesn't have to be from a famous rock group, could be from any group.

i've spended so many time looking for it on the internet, that i'm near to shoot my self on face.

Good one.....

You're certainly not going to be getting tracks from any known band anytime soon.... and even if some do offer tracks for re-mix purposes, then you're looking at serious coinage.....

But there's someone who's been posting here recently (can't recall the name off-hand) that is offering tracks to practice mixing with.... search this site......

Mogwai's album, Happy Songs For Happy People supposedly includes the individual tracks for the first song and a demo version of cubase. I haven't checked this out first hand, but it sounds like it could be cool and they are a good band....although not really a typical rock sound.

mmmm..... i think this is more complex than i tought.

the public tracks for the mix contest, are just the plain recordings of the instruments, with no modifications, no effects, and no stereo arrangements.

i have to say, that making a mix process is an art, and recording is "a walk in the park".

but i've just realize, that what i need is a more accurate help, about how should be the retreat of the recordings, and how should be done the stereo arrangements.

I wish i could see the timeline of the mixes these guys have done, but my english is not so good to ask them for it.

In a few words, is more useful for me to listen each track, with the effects and reverbs added, one by one, to understand a little bit more about how should be enhanced the recording quality.

So.... if you guys have the miracle to find something like that. Let me know.

Thanks a lot.
