OKAY, ANYONE WITH A LIGHTBULB OVER THEIR HEADS NEED APPLY.

I'M AT A TOTAL LOSS FOR SONAR 2.0 XL. THE MANUAL I HAVE UNFORTUNATELY DOESN'T MASSAGE THE INFORMATION INTO MY MIND, SO I'M HERE. HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT.

FROM SQUARE ONE.

MPC2000XL, YAMAHA AW4416, SONAR2.0XL, MODULES...

I CAN CONTROL MY MODULES FROM SONAR? I HAVE AN MPC TOO AND I'D LIKE TO USE THAT AS WELL, BECAUSE I'M ALREADY VERY FAMILIAR WITH IT. I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED, I'M ONLY WONDERING WHAT SCREENS SHOULD I BE LOOKING AT? ON WHICH WHAT MENUS SHOULD I CLICK?

YES, LOTS OF QUESTIONS. TEACHERS HAVE LOTS OF PATIENCE.
PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.

Please do something about your keyboard! Annoying as h*ll to read that post!

Anyway... I don't think that we can tell you what buttons to push, and what menus to open. That's excatly what the manual will do better than we do. The manual is failry easy to read, and if you don't manage to figure it out with the manual, then we can't explain it better (IMHO).

Yes you should be able to control your modules from Sonar if they can be controlled via MIDI.

Be specific in your question,The only question I can answer is "of course you can control your modules thro midi", write a question that really is specific, everyone will be glad to answer.

There's an aftermarket book called Sonar Power that'll probably help you out. It's on the Cakewalk site and at http://www.garrigus.com/ . I haven't read it but it couldn't hurt.

I have read Sonar Power. It was very helpful along with the manual. I keep them real close to my setup for easy reference.
