Come on man..grow the hell up, and quit trying to be an internet tough guy. Act mature for a bit, eh?Ive been around them in the army,in civilian life, in combat, and can spot em from a mile away. You obviously need to brush up on your state laws and city ordinances..You have the right to play your music as loud as you want AS LONG as it does not impede on the rights of others. If I hear your music from my car, my apartment, whereever..that is the wrong answer. The common sense thing to do is just respect whoeever is telling you to turn it down. you claim to be a producer/engineer..You should at least have the good sense to not fuck up your own ears. Why would you want to listen to music so loud anyway??What is the reason for that?? It is so easy to be an idiot and act disrespectful and go the way of the off brand fake thug..the hard thing to do it act like you have half a fucking brain.

Just use your head. Show respect and youll get it. Race/music aside. Ive been around enough music types and ethnicities here in Europe/Asia and the mideast to have friends from all of em...we all have respect for each other.

I don't listen to music at damaging levels for long periods of time. I know how to protect my hearing. I also live where almost noone will be bothered by it.
I just hate people being dicks about a little loud music. like it's some type of scurge.

You know what I do when someone is playing loud music by me in a car... IGNORE IT. I'll be away from them soon enough that there is no need for me get all pissy. I mean come on. You can't tell me that you are seriously THAT offended by someone playing loud music in their own car. I think for one you are keeping this going cause you don't like me that much. for two You have the entire wrong idea of what I'm about. I always try to be polite to people unless they give me a reason not to be. I'll open a door for ANYONE as long as they're behind me (someone actually asked me "Why are nice like that for no reason"). I'm not in general inconsiderate. But I think it's unconsiderate for someone to act as if BREIF BASS RUMBLE from a system is in some way disrespectful of others. I think it's disrespectful to force someone to turn down their music so you don't have to sort of listen to it for 20 SECONDS.

And I'm not a tough guy. I just don't back down from what I believe. You're the one acting like your way is the only way. I'm not telling you to play loud music. Just don't be so offended by it. I mean come on. a bunch of musicians talking about how it's disrespectful to be loud? Pete Townsend and Dr. Dre would be sad.
