When i control a sound off of another module on my trinity it makes a sound as if I am playing with the pitch bend. Does anyone know what the problem is?
there's a seq button on the trinity....push that button....the screen should cange...look at the scree and you will see 127 all the way accross the bottom of the screen those are your volumes for midi chanel 1 - 8 click the one on the far left (midi channel one) and move the slider bar that on the left of the screen to the bottom if it is already at the bottom move it up a then move it back down to the bottom.... and that should remove that sound that is on every other track
What module are you using that does this?? I had this problem when I had my JV 880, it had something to do with how the module responded to the touch velocity of the trinity keyboard. All I did was hit the keys with a little less force and everything was cool. Could be the same problem you're having.
when you turn the volume down on the trinity on the first midi channel the full volume will be turned down on the JV what you want to do is go ahead and manually turn back up the volume on the jv....simple as that.....
Oh that makes scence. I am using a jv-1010. what about when that happends with sounds that are already on the triniy like "koto" will that sound still do that.
Jamal the koto sound is supposed to do that, if you hit the keys hard enuff. If you play the keys with "medium" pressure it sounds normal. It's the whole "velocity sensitive" thing.
Okay so now we know what the problem is... heavy hands.
