Yikes!!! watch it Greg you could poke an eye out with that thing.

Now is that the bass you play in the church band every Sunday morning?

This is the bass that comes out just after the "And the man and his wife were both naked and not embarrassed or ashamed" reading ! :D

It seems as though, now there is a grouping of people who are really working towards the status without the work involved. Case in point: the "road worn guitar." Shouldn't the title of that be "the wish you have been on the road guitar"? There are a lot of people who have side-stepped hours and hours of practice to figure out one chord progression; giving way to you-tube and, at times, even this forum. People want an instant fix, rather than working towards an end-goal.

I care a lot about looks. But more important is it staying in tune through thick and thin, sounding great, and easy on the hands so that I'm not fighting it.

I actually like solid colors that have no glitter, so vintage is kind of my thing. I also don't like pickguards or anything else that detracts from the wood.

But I do like bumps and bruises.

I don"t really care what it looks like as long at it is not a Strat or a Tele and as long as it is black .....

I'm a total snob so therefore wouldn't even pick up a guitar I thought was ugly.

No idea why a company would make ugly guitars!

Old and beat up is one thing... I mean, I still love my old lady:D
(for that matter, she still loves me. I think;))

Ugly is another. If I have to put a bag over the headstock, I just lose all inspiration...

Sometimes beer helps:drunk:

Guitars are like chicks,,,,,,,I'd like to fuckem' all ; ) even the ugly ones

The guitar formerly known as guitar!

There are very few guitars I wouldn't play due to looks. But looks usually effect function at that point.

For me it's about the sound, but the looks are always a bonus.

Of course looks matter, otherwise we'd all be playing bare wood-finished guitars.
