DMP3 Arrived! Woohoo!

My M-audio DMP3 arrived yesterday! I tried it recording bass and acoustic guitar. It was amazing!....compared to my behringer preamps lol. But seriously it was great. Probably one of my best purchases. Now what mic preamp to buy next he he.

I think my next preamp might be the DIY two channel tube pre in the new TapeOp. Looks pretty sweet.

keilson -- cool. i ordered mine today.

What are the dimensions of it? is it a 1/2 rack? i am asking b/c I hope it can go well with the RME Multiface i just ordered as well.

adam, I believe the dimensions are 13 x 9.5 x 3. I emailed M-audio asking if they had a special rackmount for it. They said they don't make one and that I'd need to purchase a rack shelf. Kind of sux, but oh well.

wow. i had no idea it was so large. i figured it may be larger than a 1/2 rack, but that is pretty big. so much for being compact.

ye it is larger then a half rack. I looked those dimensions up online cause I'm not home. Should be accurate. I dunno bout the interface you were talking about though

Just for clarification, the dimensions posted above are for the box it comes in. The unit itself is like 8.5"x5"x2". I think you could fit two side by side in a rack drawer.

yea when I got home I realized it was a lot smaller then it said on that sight. I dunno what I was thinking. Sorry bout that.

I was going crazy doing all these aspect ratio analyses of the pic in the manual, and figured it couldn't be that big!
