Does the information in the .pdf "How to make gold on a budget" seem accurate?

I've heard much of the information (so far as I've read) echoed here and there...

For the most part, it's pretty accurate - with a couple of glaring errors;

One, bass doesn't just "go through" your walls and disappear, it depends on the wall construction (greatly) and the size of the room. The smaller the room, the higher frequencies start acting as "pressure waves" instead of traveling waves.

Two, the term "unity gain" does NOT mean faders all the way down, it means what comes in, goes out. Unity gain on most consoles is marked, with a big "O" which is about 70% up from the bottom.

Nothing else "jumped out" at me, but I just skimmed it. Overall, it won't get you in too much trouble, but it's just a bare beginning - the author doesn't claim it to be anything more... Steve
