DIY Projects: SM57/58 Clone!?

Well, now that I'm offically addicted to DIY electronics and audio equipment, I've been wondering about building my own clone of the famous sm57 OR 58. Dynamic mics are fairly simple, yet, I have been unable to find anything that would guide me in the right direction to build a dynamic of comparison. Anyone build a dynamic mic that's comparable to the sm57/58 for under 100 bucks?
Oh well, hope I'm not dreaming!
