I'm not saying I don't believe you. But I find it so hard to believe that I would have to see it for myself. I'm not so sure I'd want to hear it, though.

That's certainly likely. Disturbed's newest album is at -5.83 RMS if I remember correctly. It sounds awful if you listen to it for a long time too.

No, you need to work on making a great sounding mix. With those core sounds, you aren't going to get "loud" without "nasty" following along.

"Loud" sucks - But with a great sounding mix, it isn't rocket surgery.
