I wanted some 3U angled racks for my desk so bought myself some birch plywood for less than $20. Rest of the materials i had some spare screws, paint, etc. lying around.
I didn't do a great job with the sizing but it worked out. Also would have been nice to have some cherry paint to match my desk but i'm not picky.

also put some soft pads on the bottom side.

When we make something ourselves it's easy to find fault with our creations.
But hey, it turned out good. Looks great!
:)

haha ya no kidding.
Thanks man! it has done its job well :)

---------- Update ----------

I agree. That looks like a VERY inviting workspace.

Thank you! yup it's improved my work flow a ton

Extra spiff.
Gotta hunch you're not done with the DIY approach, either.
I can hear your gears turning from here.
