Hi, Im going guitar> marshall DRP-1 Direct recording preamp> RP2000 Modeling Guitar Effects Processor> Hi-Z guitar input on yamaha AW2816. So I was wondering, I still have humming coming out of my monitors and I wanna get the cleanest tone possible for distortion and clean out of my guitar. Can anyone help me?

Make sure everything is plugged into power strips starting at the same wall outlet. Use good quality cabling preferable without adapters. Keep your power lines away from your audio lines. That's the first step in reducing hums and noise.

I have a tightly packed roomed, so how far away should i keep my audio and power cords to reduce the hum effectively
