Digital recording VS. Software...

Whats the difference between digital and software recording..(computer)???

last time i checked recording on a computer is digital recording....

Though, the other type of digital recording without using a computer is to buy one of those portastudio things. I've never used one. They're smaller and do't have as many buttons and pretty colors that you get with computer recording, in my experience. Then again....I've never really used a portastudio, like I said, so I don't have any real experience with one.....hmm....

Digital recording just means that the audio signal is converted to digital and recorded. That can be done with digital tape, flash card recorder, CD recorder, hard disc recorder, or computer/software.
