digital multi-tracking

O-ron,

I checked out your website and I see what kind of projects you are working on. Good idea!

Does that mixer you've got have any aux sends, group outs, or anything else that you can use to squeeze some extra outputs from? You'll go broke trying to get 4 tracks into a laptop AND buy 4 channels of good preamps.

That Eridol UA-1A does look promising! You'd need to squeeze 4 outs from your mixer, but those two "stereo tracks" really equates to 4 mono tracks! Problem solved, as long as your recording software lets you record those four ins as four seperate tracks.

Of course, its only 16/44.1 but if that's good enough for now you're golden. And if it works well. I've never heard anything about it.

Good luck,
Chris

O-Ron,

Nicely done web page. Sounds like you might need to get some equipment to fullfil all of the promises made there though. Good Luck.

*EXACTLY*

p.s.

I'm greatly open to suggestions for my website. it is very much only in the early stages, and the only people that usually know it exists are those who have already purchased cd's from me. (i'm not really advertising anything yet).

Thanks
