When I first got my Digi002 console a year ago it had a problem connecting to the computer with the firewire line. The green light in the back would go off and on. I got a new one imediatly and have had it for a year. Now it is doing the same thing. Has anyone had this problem. Is there an easy way to fix it???

i had this problem recently... and it happened during one of the most important gigs of my studio existance... we were in the middle of tracking drums.. and the light just shhut of... and thge screen locked up in a blue screen error... i was like wtf... so i rebooted my comp... i tried to turn on the digi 002.. and it wouldnt... it just clicked... the optical out on the back .. its light was going on and off... clikc , click, click, .. it was like the unit was strugglin to find a sample rate. so..... we sat there for 5 minutes, turned it back on... and it worked... it happened 4 times that day, and i was about to throw up of fear of it happenening a 5th time that day. SOOOO.. that was a month ago.. i have had 2 gigs since then, and its been fine.. so i dont know man, just figured i would share this story with you to let you know it pisses me off also.

I've seen this question asked many times, it has something to do with the power suply... someone contacted digi, and was told that it was power supply and the 002 may need servicing or to be replaced, i think its some defect cuz alot of people have had it, im pretty sure DIGI will fix it/replace it free of charge, since from what i heard its there fault... contact them ASAP they will definetly help you...

Thanks

Thanks guys, this at least gives me hope that its not my fault. Exactly what about the power supply does this? This only happens when I'm at home not when I'm at school. Maybe its cause theres a different power supply.
