Greetings,
I know the basics of digital PC based recording, but one thing I have never understood is the use of ADAT as additional I/O.
I know Digi 001 always points to ADAT as an addition 8 channels of I/O. Question;
Would it be used as a collection of tracks that you have previously recorded and then mix down to your computer?
Or is it something that plays and records back in real time when you are laying down tracks to your PC?
Basicly, I have always thought of ADAT as either a stand alone 8 channel system, or apparently as storage of mastered/mixed material.
How does it fit in as "additional" I/O?
P.S.- I originally thought that may be a bit simple for this supercharged +/- 0.2 Hz forum, but nobody responded even in the Newbie forum! (how insulting)
