I have an old Soundcity 4x12 cab (I believe an L140 or B140). It's got 1 12" Altec Lansing and 3 other 12"s. The have square magnets and the following # stamped to the frames:KPGH16AX-677444
Google helped me narrow it down to Eminence, manufactured in the 44th week of '74. I've not been able to get any deeper than that.
What I want is the wattage and ohms.
Any help would be appreciated!

Nominal impedance of a speaker is usually close to DC resistance, so measure that. If it's 6 ohms, it's probably an 8 ohm speaker.

Power handling, I dunno. Don't turn it up past 11!

Also, I will remove your duplicate thread :)

Remove me from the miserable user list and the duplicate posts will take care of themselves!;)

A saw something on eminence's website that said a model number might be located under the rubber strip surrounding the magnet, if this model has one. That might help, or can call them.

peace.
