DI guitar recording

It hasnt really solved anything. Right now im just waiting for someone to either post a raw clip of a guitar riff so i can edit it OR edit the one i posted earlier and share so i can see whether or not its my hardware or software.
 
Here's your DI reamped followed by my playing. Same chain and amp setting except for red eye reamp box and my gtr. They're quite a bit different.

Reamp

Reamp Signal chain: redeye -> OD808 -> Dual Recto -> mesa 2x12 -> V30 -> trion7000-57

Gtr Signal chain: gtr -> OD808 -> Dual Recto -> mesa 2x12 -> V30 -> trion7000-57

For me playing and string control depends on hearing the amp's output. I'm seldom satisfied when I track a DI by itself.
 
Thanks for that! yeah the difference is quite noticeable however not exactly high quality as id want, but ill have to settle for it for now. Later on i might buy a mic and mic up my amp
