Deluxe Players Strat

Just got this one off Ebay. Did a complete setup and gave it a new custom pickguard. Finest Strat I have ever played / owned...

Looks nice! I like the look of the knobs and pickguard. What is the pickguard made of?

Sharp guard, good look man! I love that color with the natural guard.

I think the Deluxe Players and the Deluxe Powerhouse Strats are the two best value Strats out there, period. They are great guitars. The Players is a more traditional sound, while the powerhouse is more of a harder sound guitar with the 12db boost in it.

The knobs were another Ebay score. The pickguard is made from 3 ply white birch with a flamed / fancy maple veneer top.

I have had several other Strats, but I think this one might be a keeper. I wasn't a big fan of the blue, but with the new pickguard it looks pretty sweet.
