delta and protools

on the protools m-powered site..it says delta 44 is compatable..does that mean that i will be able to run pro tools m-powerd with a delta 44 card..or will i need some sort of other hardware?

also wats the diffrence between m-powered and regular?

im using cooledit right now and its pissing me off...

Pro Tools M-Powered allows you to use the software with M-Audio hardware, such as the 44. Digidesign recently bought M-Audio. Regular versions of Pro Tools can only be used with Digidesign hardware.

The Delta 44 will be all the hardware you need.

The differences can vary. Do you mean between M-Powered and Protools LE? M-Powered and TDM?

DIO sound card and ProTools version 7

I have a DIO soundcard that used to work very well with ProTools version 6.9 and my Mbox but with the current version it no longer works. I need to be able to audition my sound libraries and I can no longer do so. Does anyone have any suggestions?
