Herro herro!
Another Edirol DA-2496 owner here. I am hoping to exhume my DA-2496 in order to use its line inputs & AD converter, thus to conduct signal from outboard effects back to my UA Apollo Twin X Duo interface via TOSlink.
1. Yes, I have the original PCI card - as noted by others, RPC-1.
2. I have a Startech PCI-to-PCIe adapter.
3. A nice chap in Canada supplied an Rbus cable (in 2004 I didn't know it wasn't interchangeable with other D-type cables, and lost my Rbus whilst moving house).
The never-ending quest:
*IS* there a 64-bit-compatible driver [that will run on Win10] for my beloved DA-2496?
If you have a solution, I can live without the Edirol's midi capability (though it would be nice..).
Hoping someone smarter than I has solved the problem!
Regards,
Rowboat
