delta 1010 and 1010LT...

looks like I may have been duped into buying a Delta 1010 break-out box on ebay....I didnt realize that it was just the box and did not include the PCI card. Does anyone know where I can purchase the card OR....what would be nice is if the card for the 1010LT will work with the breakout box....

anyone know if this will work?

Nope, sorry. The 1010 connects to the card via a d-sub type connection which the LT don't have.

I've seen a couple of those on eBay (just the external converter box, PCI card not included) - not sure how you'd end up in that situation (since I don't think you can do anything at all with a standalone box). I don't think I've ever seen just the PCI card by itself.

You might try checking with M-Audio tech support and see if they have a replacement card they'll sell you (I've talked to them before about a noisy converter box I received off eBay, and they were fairly responsive, and seemed to have reasonable repair prices).

You could also put out the word in the classifieds here. Maybe someone had a box fail and has an extra card laying around.
