I have AA 1.5 and am recording using a 1010 and XP pro PC. It took me a few tries but I finally figured out how to get sound in and out at the same time to record with tracks 1 +2. It's been working like a charm other than the occasional screech from a peak or a stutter from overworking the processor.
But yesterday I tried to record to insert 3 for the first time. I could hear the click track through my headphones and monitors, but it wouldn't register in Adobe Audition. I saw no input signal at all. It's like the hardware allows the signal through but the drivers don't put it through to the software. I went back to insert 2 and it worked fine. The problem is, when I go to do my drum recording I need at least 4 inserts working. Does anybody know what might cause this. I'm sure there must be a setting I am missing in the control panel. Tracks inserts 1+2 are set to mix and monitor which was what finally got those two working, but you can only set that on insert 1+2. I can see the signal in the control panel being registered on HW in 3. But alas, no signal in AA 1.5.
