is it possible to get cubase to automatically delete your out takes?

When I try doing it manually it keeps asking for the location of the missing files even though they aren't used in the song.

I doin't have enouhg hard disk space to have the rubbish clogging it up and 1 song can easily take up 500+Mb!

Cheers

Solution

What you should do is:

Menu Audio/pool.
When you see the Audio pool, then choose the menu "file" and select "delete unused files".

That´s all.

Good luck

Jaggs,

If you are recording takes that are bad & you want to delete them immediately you need to select the track & use ctrl/backspace in Windows. Cubase will prompt you "do you want to permanently delete this track? hit enter & it's gone! Just be careful not to select the wrong track cos you cannot get it back once it's deleted.
