Really excited to be apart of the forum, and to learn as much as I can to help my quality while recording. Been making music for a couple years now and I'm ready to up my quality to the next level. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and hopefully someday I can return the favor. What I currently work with a Neumann TLM 103 Condenser Microphone & M-Audio USB Pre-Amp, I have a Presonious Firestudio Firewall hook up, but can't seem to get it to work.

How?
Like no signal?
Or nothing coming out of the headphones?
Got phantom power on?

Give us some more details of what's up and what you're lookin to do.

I try and hook it up in AA3, but then says "You have selected a driver for a ASIO driver that is not avialable", not sure if Phantom power is turned on, didn't see a switch for it.

I may be wrong, but having both interfaces hooked up at once might cause a conflict...if it doesnt say Phantom power there might be a 48v button...it would be that one.

It does have the 48v button. Pressed that, then unhooked the m-audio preamp, still said the same, if it means anything the light below PreSonous FireControl keeps blinking red and blue

the blinking red and blue indicates a problem with the Firestudio and the firewire connection.

Forget everything except trying to make this light stay blue. Has it only started blinking, was it always blinking, or did once upon a time it stay blue?

How closely did you follow the installation instructions? You need to be very particular about this. I'd start by uninstalling the Firestudio and starting completely from scratch, even to the point of doing a system restore at a date prior to your first installation.

Forget about the M-audio preamp for the moment. Get one thing at a time right.

Your mission is to get that blue light to stay on.
