Dear Fostex 280, why have you stopped recording?

I got a fostex 280 about a month ago and it was working fine until these past couple days it decided to stop recording. When the track is in input monitor mode, i can hear the tracks perfectly and the meters show that the machine is taking in the signals. I can still hear the tracks and the meters still read while im recording, but after im done and i rewind to play it back, i get nothing Does anybody have any ideas or tips that could help me out of this situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
