Man, I've been listening to this some more, I'm really impressed by the writing skills on display here. Great lyrically as well as musically. And as for perfomances, well, your drumming sounds professional, every strike so even, that BillyF said it sounds like a drum machine.

Your expertise in the studio surpasses the 'twisting a few knobs' analogy that you used above! That tune really rocks, you've really raised the bar here.
 
everything sounds perfect....i might of put the vox volume a touch louder....
 
Well,

I think this will be my final kick at the can for this one.

I just wanted to thank DigitalSmigital for going back a second time to listen some more and thank him for his kind words about the track and the effort that went into doing it.

Also thanks to kjam and Flash for their time, effort and kind words and lastly to my favorite rapper, Teacher.

You guys were great and fun to bounce ideas off of each other.

There's a lot of new people in here these days as many of the regulars have moved off this forum and gone elsewhere and for that, I am kind of sad to see them go as this place could use their experience and musical contributions.

a little less harsh on the vocals and gtrs would make me happy. They're kinda midrangy to me. Otherwise nice job.

I think the bass is too low in volume... that would help even things out for me.
 
I love the song... And the sound is great.... Drum performance is great, although the cymbals and hats are a bit too midrangey (wish I could think of a fancy engineers term) They need to be more Crisp and scoop out some mids from them.

What type of samples are the drums?... I am just wondering if you played them on V-Drums or if it's a drum machine or something... It seems quantized.. (Thats a good thing (in my books))

Anyways.. I really love this tune and most everything about it.

ps; A top secret collaboration is in the works and should be in the clinic shorty as soon as I get permission to post it! I have been working on the tune for the last three days straight with laryngitis so, on this one, I won't sound like Fogarty at all!..LOL :)
