can i use ddrum triggers and trigger my drums through drumagog..would it pick up the ghostnotes and snare rolls good? or is drumagog made for miced drums only? i know it sounds like a newbie question but i have a pair of crappy drum triggers and im having a problem sampling the light hits and ghosatnotes with them.

I use Ddrum triggers all the time to trigger drumagog. You just plug them into your mic preamps, like you would a mic.

The only thing I do differently is I go to the 'advanced' tab on Drumagog and turn the dynamic tracking down to about 50%. I've found, since the triggers are in direct contact with the head, you wind up with dynamics that are too wide. When you mic something up, the relationship between the force of the hit and the volume of the hit isn't as linear as what the trigger picks up.

The up-side is that you can turn the threshold way down to pick up ghost strokes without getting mis-triggers from mic bleed.
