Im thinking about getting one of these. I know it is a pre and a compressor, but how is the sound. Basicly im asking, is this the thing to get?

I have one.. My impression is that it's clean and neutral, even with a lot of tube drive. The EQ is the downside of it.. well.. the only feature with limited usefullnes in this feature-packed channelstrip. If it's good bang for the buck, I have NO idea..
