Below is the link for my first ever Hip-hop/rap beat. I would love to hear your feedback on the mixing and mastering (Your opinion with regards to the beat arrangement and anything else that sticks out to you would be really helpful as well) Thank you.

Mix sounds ok. I think you need at least one more voice in there providing a simple melody in fragments here and there. Could be anything.. strings; keys; winds.. some nice sparkling bells.. What you've got here is a good foundation.

Thanks spantini for your encouraging feedback. I really appreciate it. Yes, initially I did have an orchestral string section which came in and out, but I decided to drop that idea during mixing. I'll add that section again and repost the track here...Maybe I can experiment with other sounds that you have mentioned above as well!
