Vocals forward is my style, Greg ... for I follow pop mix trends that put them quite out front. I will, as I take my last pass at things, pull them back a bit and see if it suits better. Thanks for the added two.

Not so curiously, Greg, I tested and agreed with everything you suggested. Hi hat down 3db, vocals came down 1.5db (tx also to k) ... and I increased the reverb on the guitars to give it more of that blurry contrast (dreamy -- as k put it). On my own, I nudged the bass guitar up a db ...

... and gentlefolk, thank you. I think this is done ... all your suggestions were spot on.

Great ears and great help ... much appreciated. New mix at 160/320 on the same links above.

I'm late to the party on this one, but just wanted to say that I loved the final mix. I would definitely like to hear real piano, in the intro especially, and the vocals in the intro sound a little dry to me, but they sit really well when the full mix comes in. I like vocals loud too, so the levels seem great to my ears.

This is a great song. I love the chord progressions - very interesting. When the full band comes in it sounds amazing...wide and huge....beautiful.

Very nice!
