Dance 4 Syria Contest submission.

You won’t hurt my feelings, my daughter absolutely hates the song. LOL… :D
 
well ..... I like it ...... I don't know enough about the genre to know how it might rank but I like it.
Seems like it could use a bit more bottom end on it ...... that bass line and the kick should punch a little harder IMO and also when the regular bass drops out THAT section's bass should pump more too.

For something like this, where the point is to make folks shake their butts you need some force on the low end .... your sounds are good but I'd probably pump up the lows maybe around 80-120 hz .... somewhere in that region ..... maybe even a bit lower if we're wanting to push a system with a sub.
Also, as much as I love ethereal reverb you might have a smidge too much on those vox ..... I mean a smidge now ...... I love the sound ..... I just think there's JUST enough of it so that it takes away from the vox. A tiny bit less or perhaps a very slightly shorter decay might be mo' better.

All just my opinion and this isn't. as I said, a genre I would call myself an expert on.

Very cool thanks so much. Yes i agree with your points. Its not my genre either, but the the contest called for a dance mix, and I had most of this sitting around from a song I worked on and ended up using it as a test for Halion 4 more than an actual song. I listened to the artists they said would also be on the final benefit CD, and one of their biggest songs had the reverb pushed almost all the way. So I figured somebody likes that effect. it was like pulling teeth to get my daughter to do the vocals, and my wife who sings like Rosanne doing the national anthem won't stop singing.. :D
