Cubasis vst v5

Am running cubasis vst V5. Can anyone tell me why the vertical bar lines cut through the middle of the last beat of each bar instead of at the end of each bar. i.e. each 4 beat bar looks like half a beat then 3 beats then half a beat. Is there some setting I'm missing here?
