I have Cubasis VST 3.7. I bought it 2 or 3 years ago with a friend, and it never worked on my computer. I JUST bought a new PC, (with Win XP) and it STILL don't work with my computer!

Can I get it to run on this thing....or do I have to change back to WIN98????

The error message is:
"Cubasis.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

"The procedure point SUnMapLS_IP_EBP_12 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

ideas? tricks? .....

Thanks,
z

I did exactly the same thing with Cubase 3.7 VST.

It's not compatible with XP and won't run.

I bought mine from eBay - I'm trying to track the guy down so that he can list me as the Registered USer for this serial number.
If you are the Registered User, get the number from the Cubase site and call them. They will sell you the upgrade to SX (or whatever the Cubasis equivalent is).

Good Luck.

I solved the problem....everyone says that ideally you should have a dedicated computer for recording....that's not practical here, so I did the next best thing.

I am running both Win XP, and Win98 (on seperate drives). The only thing on 98 is Cubase, and it runs nice and quick.

XP has all the other garbage the computer collects...you know, games, email, internet....etc....

It seems to be working for me....for now anyway.
