Hey,
Like the title says. I've tried unplugging and then plugging back in the mic, restarting the computer with the mic plugged in and many other things. It does recognize my built-in computer mic, and the computer recognizes the USB mic (I recorded on a shittier program with it), so I don't know what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you have the mic plugged in you still have to go and set up the inputs and outputs.

Free CubaseSX book over at www.auxbuss.com that shows you how.....

.

I looked at the tutorial you suggested and I looked at the help in the actual program and I am still not seeing anything.

does the mic show up in the devices tab of cubase??? if not it needs to... and then it needs to be made active there...

Just solved this problem myself. If you're using asio4all, go to its external settings and enable the USB device's input. fool around with everything enabled to get the right combo (in your usb, out your speakers, or out your headset speakers, etc.)
