cubase sx multitracking problem

hey there

im using cubase sx on windows xp. i can record onto track 1 fine, but when i try and record something else on top of it, e.g. track1 - guitar chords - track 2 - guitar solo, they are always out of sync with each other upon playback. i really cannot think of a way to stop this so please could someone give some advice

This sounds like a latency issue with your soundcard. What soundcard and what drivers are you using?

s'ok thanks, ive fixed it, there was some misbalance with what was going in and coming out and stuff. thanks for the speedy reply though.
