I've been using cubase as DAW for a while, I used line6 toneport as my audio interface.
It worked like a charm!!

So I decided to upgrade my audio interface about 3 weeks ago. I chose lexicon alpha.
Problem is that everytime I record, it always comes in MONO. Nothing comes out on the right speaker. That's weird!

So, I decided to use reaper. It works fine! Comes out stereo. But, since last week everytime I play the file, export the file alwys comes up with error message. Many times the DAW closes by itself!!

What should I do??

Youare probably recording a stereo track with a mono input. In cubase when you add a new audio track make sure you select mono.

...export the file alwys comes up with error message. Many times the DAW closes by itself!!
what does that error message say?
closing DAW may be caused by some naughty plugins.:p

I had some Cubase problems recently and contacted Steinberg. With my problems, as soon as it sounded like it was just on my machine, they wanted me to reinstall the program.

Also check for new drivers.

Before I reinstalled Cubase I went into my Mac's Library folder and took my Cubase preferences and copied them to another folder. That way I was able to save things like my key commands.

If you reinstall it, check to see if the same problems occur when you start up Cubase, not from one of your project .cpr's, but from the original Cubase LE.app before you add in anything of your own.
