Cubase le 4

Hey, i use cubase le 4 with my band, which we just recorded some music, and i was having trouble with the playback, and the recording...the recording part hardly ever worked, and it came up with the message "too many tracks recording" and it only worked half the time. and the playback hardly works because it cuts in and out...just on the play back!!! so if anyone can help me out that b great!!!! thanks

what type of computer and whats inside..seems like the processor is doggin out ...using vst's?..i know the ones that come with cubase le4 put a load on your cpu..(i use le4)...and how many tracks at once are you trying to record?..give a list of your gear..there are alot of folks on here that can help..T
