Cubase file saving speed

Help! My cubase file has lately started taking longer time to save. While working -pitch correction on vocals- the system speeds just fine but when I click to save I now have to wait for almost 2hrs! What should I do?

That is strange. There is talk of the issue on the steinberg.net forum but nothing that severe.

What version of Cubase do you have? Is it registered?

Cubase sx. Not registered.

Maybe a Patch issue, do you have the latest version? what Cubase are you using?
