I'm trying to record Audio with guitar on my Edirol UA-25 Interface but i'm not getting any signal from Cubase. When i crank up the volume on the Edirol and strum the guitar, the peak/limiter lights up so i'm getting signal in the interface, but the levels in Cubase aren't moving. Please help.

I've got the guitar plugged in, with Hi-Z on. I've got digital connected to my speaker system (Logitech Z-5500, i know they're not monitors but that's all i've got at the moment). My windows sound settings are all set to the Edirol Interface and my settings in Cubase are all through the interface as well.

I tried my MIDI keyboard and rewired it with Reason and it's fine. I'm getting signal and sound from both. It's just Audio i'm having trouble with.

teej_d,

I'm not familiar with Cubase, but are you working on a mix project, and you're attempting to record to a track? You might need to assign an input for the track you're recording on, such as "edirol ua-25 right channel", because the hi-z input is on the right channel of the interface. It might default to "left channel" or "none". hope that helps.

Can you do some screenshots? One of the track in question and one of the VST AudioBay.
