Cubase 5 & Windows vista

Hi - Any of you guys running Cubase 5 and Windows Vista?
I am looking for a new pc for cubase 5. Any info on which operating system is better - windows vista or XP ?

I cant se any reason to use Vista.
XP don´t use so much RAM when started, and there is much more less problem with drivers you need one way or another.

So my recommendation is; if you want a system to run smooth with less problems.
Go for XP.
At least until there is some test deen for the new system coming, Windows 7.
Seems to be a stable, fast system. But we never know until the release.

the question you should be asking is which version of vista. C5 is native 64 bit so it would be a no brainer, stick with the 2-3 gigs of ram you will be able to use under xp32 or the 4-16 gigs with vsta64. If you are sticking in the 32bit realm then it really wont matter. Older machine, stick with XP, newer machine, does not matter. I run cubase on Vista32 and dont have any problems.
