Hey all.
Im brand new to home recording but have been in many recording environments as a musician.
so basically I have have a general understanding of studios and sound but not of computer recording and driving the controls myself.
I have a new album I have been recording at a small studio which has ceased to operate and my tracks are only half finished. I wish to finish it myself and was handed a hard drive from the studio with a mangled mess of unnamed tracks etc etc.
I could go on .....
I will have many questions and would appreciate any help.
First thing is.
All my files ( songs ) can be opened except three which when I click on the file , I get a drop menu pop up that reads"set project file.'if I ignore this and continue the song will come up without and tracks on it.
I know these three songs were emailed to me at one stage in a rough mix stage. ( would the files of been moved and changed to mp3 to emailed )
I have searched all files and cant find these tracks.
