cubase 4 + waves problem

Hey gang,

I have recently upgraded my sequencer to C4. and my waves diamond bundle v4.0.5 hasn't worked since. is there a work around for this? does the plugin folder need to be moved, reinstalled etc...... any gurus that could help.... would be appreciated. I am a volunteer engineer for a youth group in my area and would love to get these plugs working again. I'm just used to having them in my tracks.

I'm not sure about macs, but for plugin's to work, you have to have the .dll in the VST Plug ins folder. Is this the case?
 
similar.

waves installs a global "waveshell" app in the vst folder that runs all the plugins. something happened as I went from nuendo 2 to cubase 4. the plugs no longer work.
 
a reinstal of the plugins will let you chose the folder to put them in...in this case the C4 plugin folder
