CRT vrs, TFT or LCD

I'm tired of turning off my CRT monitor every time I record a track of electric guitar or bass.
Has anyone tried one of the new TFT or LCD monitors with guitars etc. and is there any difference?
 
Due to interference ?
I've heard the LCD's dont have this problem, but I prefer the lower cost, clarity and lower dot pitch of a CRT.
I have a new Viewsonic that does'nt create a problem as long as my guitar is 4-5' away.

I generally record alone and its so convenient to be right in front of the monitor.
Has anyone tried one while recording electric guitar?
 
LCD? Yeah I use a 15 inch Samsung and it's great! I never have problems recording electric near it.

I'll give a Ditto on the Samsung... low interferance for me with my 15" TFT Samsung as well.
