Hey guys i need some feedback on one of my songs on my myspace 'come on c'... comments are greatly wanted!!. thanks here it is...

I like this tune...not bad at all. Nice chord progression and the overall guitar work is very nice. Also, I think your vocal style fits the mood of the song.
The noise on the guitar track though makes the mix a little tough to listen to. It sounds like you need to turn your gain way down. Make sure you pay attention to your levels.
Also, it sounds like you cut two vocal tracks. When you are matching the main vocal line, it sounds like the timing between them is off a bit. You probably don't need both parts except for when you are harmonizing.
Overall, good songwriting and nice style, but the production needs a bit of cleaning up.

I agree with Boo - you have a great song here that needs a bit of production to polish it.
- I would work on the guitar and try get it cleaner, with less (sounds like) fret buzzing, or not so great distortion.
- double main melody vocals are really tough, they need to be really similar to get that nice fat sound.
- the lead guitar parts could come up a bit....
On the positive side, you are a good songwriter with a good voice. Harmonies are well thought out. I like the song and again it just needs some minor work to make it a bit tighter and sound really great.......

I'm not a fan of DI acoustics... Try micing it and see how u like it.

That's some great advice!! Yeah you guys are the recording experts...I kno nothing about gain or levels or anything in production that's why I am going to school for music technology to learn all that! Yeah I also hate that buzz in that song its annoying... Thanks a lot guys

I dont necessarily think its "buzz" as much as I think its the sound of the acoustic guitars pickups. That is, if you did record it straight into the mixer.
If thats the case, that nasty sound will go away if you mic the acoustic instead of plugging it directly in to the mixer.
On your next song, (or this one if you chose to re-record the guitars) instead of plugging the acoustic in to something, put a mic in front of it and record that way. Play around with the mic's placement until you get a sound you like. I think you'll be much more satisfied with the results this way.
