Hi. This is my drumset in my living room. I was playing with a solo recording of jimi hendrix. Anyways I just changed the snare and the hihats and also repositioned some mics.

Anyways let me know. I think I am deaf after all of this.

ah...the blues...well by playing to hendrix you are at a disadvantage of not having the double bass 60s gretch sound thing going but if you are going for authentic then you would need to scoop out the middle a bit but not bad ..not bad at all. it must be hard playing to a solo of jimmy when he isnt able to react back...cool.

that kick is SO meaty. i like it. the kick, sadly, could come down a bit though, and the toms could come up a bit.

Yeah the drums are too loud altogether. And they really should'nt compete with Jimi Hendrix. The bass drum is recorded with a beta 52 and there is a compressor on it as well. There are no mics on the toms at all though. I will get started miking toms. It's just a laziness thing.

I dunno... I liked it. Yeah, they were a bit loud and you do need to mic your toms (at least move the overheads down a hair if nothing else). Solid playing, and I'd like to hear some originals from you.
