Crackly Shit Noise

Hey guys,
I use XP Professional. I have Cakewalk 9 ProAudio and a Delta 4/4. When I play back 5,6 tracks or more it seems like there is a bit of static...can I remedy this...it seems my Sblive doesnt even crackle that much. And the Delta is a more expensive card.....

First of all PA9 is not compatible with XP. That might be your first problem.

...brzilian is probably right,i´ve got CAKE9 too but its on wink2 and no problems,but try augmenting the Buffers vallue under cakewalk...go check the manual.

Hey poo,
Do you use pci videocard by any chance?
If you do please be warned that some videocards interfere with the whole pci bus, hence the crackles.
Switch to agp.

The XP Drivers that midiman supplies SUCK..I would either move to win2K or get a different soundcard....or wait until they write some stable drivers.
