crackling from left deck

ez all, first post here for me hope someone can help

ive got 2 cdj900's and when i play a tune from the LEFT cdj theres sometimes a crackling noise playing through the speakers along with the track. ive tried disconnecting wires and connecting them back up again but cant get rid of it.

to say again, its only sometimes. often ill switch them on for a mix and it works fine

any help appreciated cheers

Try swapping the left and right units to find out if it's the CDJ or something else in the left signal chain making the noise.

yea done that mate and its cracklin from the right now, obv its the cdj! they only a few bloody weeks old. what do ya recommend?

Should be under warranty. Try exchanging it.

my mates just called, hes bringin his digital leads over tomorrow so im gonna try connecting the cdj to the mixer by them instead of the rca leads. do ya think this might work??

It's worth a try. If you bought it brand new, I'd exchange it under warranty.
