I think maybe this came out wrong in writting this down....actually it was $99 a piece....so basically I got 2 319's....2 pop filters...2 shock mounts for $198....I looked back on my post and it did look like I said I got both mic's and everything else for just $99....but still, $198 for everything....still was a good deal in my opinion...

I bought my 319 at GC for $99 some time ago. This is just them admitting that they can sell the mic at that price point and make a profit. If they don't pony up, just wave $100 bucks at them and they'll probably bite. I didn't get the shock mount, though. Anyway, I didn't intend to buy it either, but at that price point, I just grabbed it. I find it a dark mic that I use when I want to tame the highs of a very bright signal. It isn't particularly hot, and does better with a good pre to add gain.-Richie

sorry I took so long to reply to all but I was at the GC in the Chicago burbs (Hghland park) and they had the Oktava 319 for $99. I kinda dropped the ball on that one.
