No, I was going to post my last post before you posted yours. Sorry to disappoint you, but you're just not as comedic as most of the rest in this thread.

Just a reminder... The OP (who is long gone) was asking for the "Perfect" vocals, not a place to start, nor how to try and mix vocals. Big difference between just starting out and obtaining the perfect vocals.

Yeop, thats why if he reads the whole thread he will see as RAMI clearly points out every single little post of his, that we cant tell him how to get "the perfect vocal," thats on him to decide. But in order to get there, you gotta START somewhere.
Oh yeah and the OP sent me an email the day after the first couple posts, saying that giving him a starting point helped, though he was trying to find the easy way out, he had to just read the TIPs and TRICKs from the sites I sent him and do his research and his own tweaking

What Rami ISN'T telling any of you, is that the only reason he's monitoring this thread so closely, is that he's afraid the secret WILL be posted and he is trying to ensure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Sure... He knows there's a secret program out there to perfect ALL vocals... But can you imagine what would happen if every tween-queen, boy-band wannabe, or script-kiddie gangsta got their hands on it?
EXACTLY! Basically all the worst parts of the Bible combined into one big home studio nightmare.
BUT...
I don't share Rami's convictions in this, and I believe that anyone who steps in front of a microphone should have the same opportunities to lay down the perfect vocal track... Not just those who know about the secret.
So... Without further ado... I give you: THE SECRET!
It's a little-known plug-in called:
"VIRTUAL FRONTMAN"
Personally, I've never had a chance to use VFM (those of you who have heard my singing can attest to this), but I do have a screen-shot that I smuggled out of another studio:
As you can see, this is the Vocal 'Silver Bullet' we've all been looking for, the singers, 'Holy Grail' as it were...
So there... I've taken you to the door... You will all have to decide whether to go through it on your own...
But remember:
Use this new-found power for 'Good' only...

The secret to great vocals is a process. First, you starve yourself for a week. You must not shave. Next you lock yourself in a completely black room with no light in total silence for 48 hours. You cannot sleep. You must be naked. Now you're ready to record, huddled in a corner like a naked madman.
